ready or not, here i come!

i'm developing a little bit of a reputation for being fearless. i love all things climbing and sliding! every once in awhile, i do have to whine and yell to get someone's attention when i'm stuck, but this doesn't happen very often. i am learning to work it out myself.

and then there was my float!

i really liked floating around and looking at all the swimmers. i didn't even mind the big splashes. it is a great spot for watching dean go down the giant slide with da. i have my eye on that. i think i'll try it soon. i'll keep you posted.

pool!

we went to the pool yesterday! i really like the bath, so everyone thought i would really like the pool. and they were right! it was a blast!

clap your hands

i have finally learned to clap my hands (it's a 9 month milestone, by the way...)

well, everytime i do it, i get so happy and smiley, and people clap their hands and say, 'yay!' it's all very fun. don't know why it's taken me so long.

hide and go seek

i thought i would play an impromptu game of hide and go seek the other day. the only problem was i forgot to tell anyone i was going to hide. i crawled in behind the couch and got stuck! i then started fussing a little bit, and they eventually found me. i was pretty well hidden.

skins

sadly i've had a little virus the past couple days, and i've been just a wee bit fussier than usual (according to me, of course. probably best not to ask the rest of the fam for comment). so i spent a good part of yesterday afternoon in just my diaper because i was tired of wearing clothes.

here's some pictures of what happens when you combine macaroni and cheese and drool and have it for dinner... it's especially fun to eat the wayward noo noos off your own chest!

sippy cup

i'm getting a little better with the sippy cup. i still throw it on the floor a lot, but i'm treating the milk less as mouthwash and more as a beverage, which is a good thing...

i'm getting more adventurous all the time in the tub. today the shower was turned on! boy, oh boy!
