i love getting my hair wet and laying down to swim in the bathtub. and we think bathtime color dots that turn the water all different colors are super fun. last night, the water was blue.

a little light reading

i picked up mommy's book club book this morning for a little light reading. my horizons needed to be broaden to include biographies of 18th century british aristocrats....



but i am not going to forsake my true favorites: maisy, goodnight moon, big red barn, etc.

childrens museum in durham

when we visited ty ty and dave this weekend, they took us to a children's museum near their house. there were all kinds of near things to do and see.

they had turtles in aquariums.



here ty ty has me near the moon lander replica.



when you pushed down on the yellow handle, lots of bubbles went up the big tank of water. whoa!



and here you used the blocks to build and see if it could withstand an earthquake.

mommy's pjs

we've had lots of showers in the morning lately. (see the post right before this one, for example). usually that means we've been 'out too late' to have a bath at night. such wild and crazy times here at our house.

anyway, the other morning after my shower, i was so cold. so mommy covered me up with her pajamas. they're pretty big for her, so they made nice warm blankets. i laid down on the bathroom floor, and she put my legs in the bottoms and everything.
