swimming in the lake

to everyone's surprise, i loved swimming in the lake. my life jacket didn't even bother me. :)

slip 'n slide

at sue sue and pop's house last week, we played on their slip 'n slide. pop put it on his hill so we wouldn't have such a hard time getting going. it was a blast!

da's birthday

we celebrated da's birthday a few days late. he doesn't love cake so much, but he does love mommy's oreo ice cream dessert. (and so do dean and i!)

one of my favorite things is a birthday! i light up just like the candles!

bouncing angels

we met some of our friends this morning at bouncing angels, the inflatable play place. it was a blast. i tried my hardest to keep up with dean, and most of the time, i succeeded.

cookin' breakfast

we've been putting our aprons on and 'cooking' breakfast. it gets kind of hot in the kitchen, so we have to ditch our pj tops. but it's not too hot for socks and crocs!

other mentionables

just down from the house where we stayed, there was a neat playground in the shape of a shrimping boat.



alligators are all around fripp island, and we saw a giant (probably 8 feet long) one laying on the side of a pond one morning. this one is not real, and we got to take our picture by it.



the 'golf car' was my favorite by far. i could have cruised around that island in the golf car most of the day.



my take on the frog slide: fun, but i didn't like the line to go up the steps and all the child-jockeying for position that occurred. most of the time i went down backwards feet first.

beach bum

we just got back from a week with sue sue and pop and ty ty and dave at fripp island. i had a great time and really liked the beach! dean let me model his new sunglasses for a few minutes.



i enjoyed running all around the wide sand.



'beach' was synonymus with 'lunch' for me. about 10 minutes after i got there everyday, i started asking for my sandwich and capri sun.



one windy evening i got to ride my scooter on the beach. super fun!
