this is the 3rd week of preschool, and things are going better. today we made baker's hats!

first day of preschool

da took me to my first day of preschool today! i got to ride in dean's carseat all by myself in da's car (which rarely ever happens).



there is a big fish tank right inside the door to the school. check out how cute i look in my new-to-me backpack.



there were tons of toys to play with at school.





unfortunately, this is where the fun stopped. i didn't know that da was going to leave me there. all morning was a pretty bad scene. i guess i'm not as well-adjusted as i thought, but i have agreed to go back on thursday and try it again. wish me luck.

not to be out-tubed by dean..

..when we were at the lake this weekend, ty ty took me tubing with her! i had a blast!!

instead of a diving board, our pool has a nice slide for us kids to go down. i've been going down the slide since last summer, but never by myself. never, that is, until now!

dean sometimes holds my hand until we get to the top. more often, though, he runs ahead and leaves me in the dust.
