our company (sue sue and pop and ty ty and dave) arrived, and we are having a blast! so many people to hold me and carry me around (pop especially enjoys this job :) ).

my new activity cube from sue sue and pop. dean enjoys playing with it, too. i don't mind sharing. there's room enough for both of us - until he knocks me out of the way, that is.

havin' a holly jumpy christmas

i hadn't posted a video in awhile, and i thought you might like to see one of my favorite past-times. i can do this for 45 minutes sometimes! dean's making me laugh like a crazy baby.

christmas time is here

while dean was at school this morning, i got to spend a little time with his tree. he isn't real big into sharing with me right now, so i play with his things when i can. i really like the round ornaments and pretty lights on his tree. the boxes aren't bad, either.

big news....

... i'm officially crawling! i'm still kind of slow and getting my legs and arms organized, but i'm doing it.

it's gratifying to be able to reach some of those things i'm interested in seeing now! look out world (and dean's stuff!)

exersaucer afternoon

while dean ran around outside today playing on his swingset, i got in some good exersaucing time. it's pretty portable, you see, and even works great in the yard. (i'm thinking that maybe if i didn't weigh so much mommy could hold me and carry me around - oh, well).

wagon ride

yesterday mommy needed somewhere to stash me while we were outside doing christmas decorations. she put me in dean's wagon, which was really great. and then dean started to pull me around and took me on a great wagon ride up and down the driveway!

disney cruise!!!

for our family thanksgiving reunion this year, we all went on a disney cruise! it was so much fun!!

the swimming area for babies had some splashy fountains in it. da tried to put my hand in, but i was not liking it at all. the water was too cold for me.

more bath time fun

happy saturday

good morning. mommy just took some pics of me in my red overalls (with my rashy cheeks, i'm looking especially robust - don't you think?) so i thought i'd do some blogging. seems like the only time i have to blog is on the weekends. ah, it's hard work keeping up my busy weekday schedule!

seems like we might be sewing some this morning as i'm upstairs with dean's school bus and farm (two of my favorites). then the game is on at 12:30, so that should take up most of our afternoon. hope you have a great day! love, walt

a little a.m. play time

good morning! while mommy makes beds and puts things away, dean and i get some good playtime on the floor. he usually is busy putting things just out of my reach, but i'm beginning to be able to chase some things down.




the big news is that i am getting up on my knees and rocking back and forth! crawling is in my near future, i think! boy, dean's not going to know what to think when i can keep up with him.



and when i need a little rest from my exercises, i also like watching the bouncy chair from a different vantage point.

game day

 

it's game day! i have on my trusty red shirt, and i've got my bulldog bib handy. that means we're ready to go. go, dawgs, go!

dean and i stayed and played at sue sue and pop's while mommy and da went to the game. i watched most of it, but my eyes were getting a little heavy during the fourth quarter when we blitzed those tigers and scored 28 unanswered points. ahh, i do love saturdays in the fall!

i must say that bath time is a lot more fun sitting up! i can see so much more, and i love touching the shiny thing at the bottom of the tub. the best part, though, is the water coming out of the faucet. such fun!

i really enjoyed my lil pumpkin outfit. trick-or-treating was just ok, as i did not get any candy. actually, i'm not sure what candy is yet, but dean sure does seem to like it!

beach day

i recently went to a place called the 'beach.' there was a lot of sand, a lot of water, but too much wind for my taste.


we visited with some friends of mommy's - here's their little boy charlie. he's is only 12 days older than i am, so we had lots to talk about,


mommy got to break out the baby-bjorn to carry me around. as long as the wind kept down, i was fine.

i like this beach-place... i think i'll come back here someday!
