well child

on thursday dean and i both went to doc stone's for our well child checks. i thankfully didn't have to get any shots. (dean had to get 4!) he pronounced me healthy and these were the stats:

weight: 29 lb 4 oz (66%)

height: 34 3/4 inches (60%)

head: 50 1/2 cm (90%)

hitchin' a ride

the weather has been so beautiful the past few days that we have spent a lot of time outside. dean let me climb onto the back of his trike the other day and gave me a ride.

my real birthday

and last night we went to mimi and gan gan's for my real birthday.

we had another yummy cake. here i am sampling the icing before we cut it up.

practice birthday

on sunday, we had my practice birthday at sue sue and pop's.

there were presents to open! dean was a giant help to me and opened all of my presents.





i got a little einsteins computer. don't i look official on my little 'laptop'?


and mama made my cake from scratch! it was very yummy.

then came the hunting of the eggs

i caught on pretty fast this year when it came time to hunt the eggs. i ran around with the best of them (dean) and got my share.

the dyeing of the eggs

i got very involved in dyeing the easter eggs this year. as you can see, i didn't have time for the little wand that came with the kit. oh, no. not me. i used my hands!

i think the reason i was allowed to lay on top of the table while participating was because ty ty was in charge. :)

when we were all done, dean organized them nicely back in the carton.

dean's school

i love to go to dean's school to pick him up. i really love to go to his parties and stay awhile. they have so much stuff to play with there! my favorite today was the play kitchen.

here i am getting ready to dish up my pizza.



dean and his friends put on a little concert of spring and easter songs, and i sat on da's lap and listened and clapped along. it was a great morning. i think i'm going to love school when my turn comes!
