who likes halloween?

i do!!!!

i really enjoyed my lil pumpkin outfit. trick-or-treating was just ok, as i did not get any candy. actually, i'm not sure what candy is yet, but dean sure does seem to like it!

beach day

i recently went to a place called the 'beach.' there was a lot of sand, a lot of water, but too much wind for my taste.


we visited with some friends of mommy's - here's their little boy charlie. he's is only 12 days older than i am, so we had lots to talk about,


mommy got to break out the baby-bjorn to carry me around. as long as the wind kept down, i was fine.

i like this beach-place... i think i'll come back here someday!

i know, i know, another exersaucer picture. that's where they stash me as often as i'll let them. just wanted you to see how big i'm getting and how fast my hair is coming in.

joining in the family past-time - Legos!

now that i'm sitting a little better, i can sit in dean's room and play with legos! i'm really more about chewing on them than anything, but it is fun to be a part of the action.

mmm... rice cereal

mommy decided it is finally time to let me sit in my chair and eat like the rest of the family.












that being said, we started cereal today. i must say this may take some getting used to. i gag a lot and make crazy faces. the best part of it is playing with the spoon.













and then dean decided he should help feed me, too. they were the biggest bites i've ever seen!

big boy car seat

 

well, it seems they finally got tired of toting me around in that uncomfortable infant carrier. today i was buckled into a big boy car seat for the first time. the best thing about this is that it's one of the few things that is not a hand-me-down from dean. seems he's still using his.

it was very comfortable for the long ride to sue sue and pop's this weekend. i must say i rather enjoyed the roomy extra cushiness. although i am moving up in the car seat world, i am still having to ride backward which is kind of a drag. oh, well. i'll take what i can get.

here's something new...

... my two bottom teeth.

they came through today! yippee! i had been VERY drooly and somewhat irritable the last couple weeks, so i hope to feel better now. sorry for the weird picture. it was all i would allow my mommy to take. (i know, you can't even see the teeth).

under the bed

 

 

i spend a good part of most days rolling all around the floor. today i got up almost under the bed and discovered mommy's nice holey bedskirt. it was fun to put my fingers in and to chew on!
