birthdays

two days ago it was my mommy's birthday. we celebrated by going to her favorite restaurant to eat pizza.








today they tell me its our country's birthday. i don't know what country is, except that pop listens to alot of it on the stereo. here you can see me in my patriotic t-shirt. no comments about me sleeping on the boat again - i work hard every day.

awake at the lake

ty ty and uncle dave arrived today. now the party really begins. here's a pic of me and ty ty on the boat at the dock. i'm able to stay awake since we're not moving.

today was the day! I finally saw the lake. a lake is made of a lot of water. so much, in fact, that we drove across it in something called a 'boat.' here you can see me in the boat.

now don't get me wrong... i didn't fall asleep because the boat (or the lake) is boring. i just find the rocking of the waves and sound of the motor very soothing.

lake? not lake?

i started my day by eating (of course) but then i immediately had mom dress me in what i considered to be proper lake attire (but what do i know about lakes?). when they strapped me into my carset, i thought to myself, "ok - here we go to the lake!"

imagine my disappointment when we finally arrived at the hair salon. dont' get me wrong... mom's new hairdo does look quite nice.

what a long, strange trip

i fell asleep in the car yesterday and woke up at sue sue and pop's house. well, that's not exactly true, i did cry and scream just a little bit. but when i got there, a new swing was waiting for me! it has a nice smooth action and good speed variation. i give it two thumbs up.


today has been a lot like any other day, except the scenery is different. i hang out in the swing, get held a good bit, i sleep, and get some tummy time. oh yeah, lets not forget eating.

there's been talk of something called a lake... i'll let you know what this is as soon as i investigate.
